No injuries were reported after firefighters extinguished a field fire northwest of Kingsley, Iowa.
According to Kingsley Fire Chief Brandon Sitzmann, the cause of the fire remains unknown at this time. The fire began in a ditch at C-60 and Noble Ave. and burned around 50 acres, spreading north.
Firefighters from Kingsley, Hinton, Le Mars, and Merrill responded to the scene, with local farmers assisting with disk to help contain the fire.
