UWE Bristol Lecturer Shortlisted for Prestigious Award
Dr Amak Mahmoodian, senior lecturer in photography at UWE Bristol, has been shortlisted for the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize 2026.
The prize, established in 1996, honors significant contributions to photography through exhibitions or publications in Europe within the past 12 months.
Dr Mahmoodian is shortlisted for her exhibition ‘One Hundred and Twenty Minutes’, which examines the experience of dreaming for individuals living in exile.
