Rochester Men’s Shed Secures $90k Grant
Rochester Men’s Shed is set to receive a new look after being awarded $90,000 in funding.
The grant, from the Victorian Government, will support the construction of a new shed as part of the 2025-26 Men’s Shed Funding Program.
- The Rochy Men’s Shed was one of 31 groups to receive a share of the $860,000 grant pool.
- The new shed will be located behind the Rochester Elmore District Health Service, which is currently under redevelopment discussions.
The development of a new Men’s Shed would benefit the community, said co-ordinator Amanda Logie.
The Rochester Neighbourhood House applied for support through the Men’s Shed Funding Program, with the Men’s Shed being one of its most popular programs.
