Witness Shares Details of Shooting Involving Law Enforcement Officers
A life-changing moment for Jay Jackson occurred when he witnessed a shooting involving law enforcement officers. Speaking to Action News 5 hours after the incident, Jackson was still in disbelief.
Marshal officials credited members of the Memphis Safe Task Force for intervening and stopping a gunman who was running away from a Cordova business.
“It just messed me up, because I ain’t never seen nothing like that,” said Jackson.
Jackson described the events leading up to the shooting, stating he was going into a smoke shop on North Germantown Parkway and Dexter when he saw a man running out of the store.
