Sister to Equinox Delivers on Debut
A full-sister to the great Equinox kicked off her career in style, scoring an impressive victory in the 2000-metre 2YO Newcomer event on turf at Tokyo.
Trained by Tetsuya Kimura, who also trained Equinox, Exceed won by a length and a half in a time of 2:00.2 with Christophe Lemaire in the saddle.
She's well-built for a filly and shows sharp acceleration. Her gestures and sensitivity remind me of her brother when he was young, she's alert and quick to respond. She's a very exciting prospect with great potential.
