Suggestion for Traffic Improvement in The Villages
A Villager, Chuck Culver from Village of Pine Ridge, has proposed a solution to handle traffic at a busy intersection in The Villages.
The intersection in question is where State Road 44 meets Morse Boulevard, which is expected to experience even more congestion with the upcoming opening of a new Super Walmart.
We need to have either the golf cart bridge expanded or a new bridge added to handle the backup of car traffic trying to move between Villages North and Villages South.
Currently, golf carts using the Chitty Chatty Bridge have the fastest time crossing State Road 44 at this intersection.
