Medieval Tower Collapse
A medieval tower near the Roman Forum has partially collapsed during renovation work, critically injuring at least one worker.
According to authorities, the tower, known as Torre dei Conti, collapsed on Monday, trapping one worker and critically injuring another.
Firefighter spokesman Luca Cari confirmed that the one remaining worker remained trapped hours after the initial collapse.
