Police Officer and Security Manager Arrested for Selling High-Powered Firearms
A police officer and a security agency manager were caught selling high-powered firearms in Davao City during an entrapment operation.
According to PRO 11 Director PBGen Joseph Arguelles, the joint operation was carried out by the Regional Intelligence Division 11 along Roxas Avenue on Monday.
“We remain firm in our campaign against illegal firearms. No one is exempted, even members of the police organization,”
Arguelles said the operation was part of ongoing efforts to crack down on the proliferation of unlicensed weapons in the region.
- The suspects were apprehended after reportedly negotiating the sale of illegal firearms to undercover operatives.
