Pauline Collins, beloved British actress best known for her role in the 1989 film Shirley Valentine, has passed away peacefully at the age of 85, surrounded by her family.
Her relatives expressed gratitude to her caregivers for their compassion and support during her final days.

Collins had been living with Parkinson’s disease for several years. Throughout her extensive career, she became widely recognized for her performances across stage and screen, including her early work in the sitcom The Liver Birds and her celebrated role in the classic series Upstairs, Downstairs.
