Azercell's Cybersecurity Team Achieves Success at CIDC 2025
Azercell's cybersecurity team, "Cybercell", emerged as the vice-champion among 25 teams at the "CIDC 2025 – Critical Infrastructure Defence Challenge" in Baku.
The “CIDC 2025 – Critical Infrastructure Defence Challenge” was jointly organized by the State Service of Special Communication and Information Security and the State Security Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In the "Cyberwarfare in Smart Cities" competition, Azercell Telecom's cybersecurity team demonstrated outstanding performance, completing complex tasks based on realistic cyber threat scenarios over two days.
- 20 local teams participated in the challenge.
- 5 international teams from the United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan also took part.
Azercell Telecom’s cybersecurity team earned the title of Vice-Champion.
