Gareth Barry on Jack Grealish's Move to Everton
Former midfielder Gareth Barry believes Everton fans can bring out the best in Jack Grealish.
Grealish's career journey has taken him from Manchester City to Everton, with a path similar to Barry's, who played for Aston Villa and Manchester City before joining Everton.
“It is a move Jack needed. I think Jack needed regular football. He needed the love from his manager to go out there, and go ‘show me what you can do’.
Barry thinks Grealish will thrive under David Moyes's guidance, saying:
“Having played with the Everton fans, they’ll back him. And if Jack does what he does, he will have a great season. I’m sure he can improve on that as well.”
