All Hazards Alert Warning System to be tested on November 4
The Offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense, U.S. Naval Base Guam, and Andersen Air Force Base will conduct routine testing of the vital communication and advance warning system sirens.
On Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025, starting at 3:15 p.m., the All Hazards Alert Warning System (AHAWS) sirens will be tested in conjunction with the monthly routine testing of the “Giant Voice (GV)” sirens.
Residents, visitors, and motorists surrounding the AHAWS sirens and GV speakers can expect to hear pre-scripted voice messaging announcing the start and end of the test, and sixty-seconds of the “Alert” siren tone.
