After finishing last season with their best record in a decade, the men's basketball team is heading into this year with a real shot at the A-10 crown.
The team has been picked fourth in the Atlantic 10 and has earned top-85 national rankings in Kenpom and BartTorvik, indicating a promising season ahead.
"For us, being relevant in basketball is really important," said Head Coach Chris Caputo. "I certainly think that we all put a lot of pressure on ourselves every day to do a good job and be successful."
Coach Caputo noted that being in the A-10 Championship hunt is a "privilege" and something the team hasn't experienced in his three years at the helm.
The team's offseason hype is justified, given their recent performance and national rankings.
