Following her participation in Celebrity Traitors, Paloma Faith revealed she was “devastated” to be chosen as the first person to be "murdered" on the show, especially by her close friend Alan Carr. This led to rumours of a falling out between the pair.
The situation seemed tense when Alan appeared to ignore Paloma’s pregnancy announcement on social media, suggesting lingering animosity.
Contrary to the rumours, the duo appear to have resolved their differences. Paloma shared a Halloween throwback video featuring Alan, formerly the host of Chatty Man. In the clip, Alan is dressed as one of the twins from The Shining, and Paloma asks him:
“Alan what happened to you? What did my daughter do?”
Alan humorously responded:
“She threw a slug at me and then she basically set a rat on me which I have spoken to the police, it’s a hate crime.”
Paloma captioned the video: “We no longer feel guilty @chattyman happy Halloween throw back.” Alan reshared it, adding:
“Haha! I think we’re even now!”
The 49-year-old recently discussed his decision to “kill” Paloma on the show during an episode of the Life’s A Beach podcast, hosted by DJ Norman Cook (Fatboy Slim).
This light-hearted exchange suggests the friends have moved past the earlier tension.
