Jimmy Kimmel Launches 'Big, Beautiful Food Bank' to Help SNAP Recipients Impacted by Government Shutdown

Jimmy Kimmel Launches Community Food Bank Amid SNAP Uncertainty

The late-night show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” has opened a donation center to support residents affected by the ongoing government shutdown and disruptions to SNAP benefits. The initiative was revealed Tuesday on Instagram following President Trump’s statement that the administration would continue withholding assistance despite a federal judge’s directive to maintain the program using emergency funds.

“Cutting SNAP benefits creates uncertainty for American children, seniors and families,” the show wrote.

“If you are in LA, please come by to donate food and if you are not, please consider supporting your local food banks,” the post continued.
