Defenseman K'Andre Miller will rejoin the Carolina Hurricanes lineup against the Minnesota Wild on Thursday at 7 p.m. Miller missed six consecutive games due to a lower-body injury but was activated off injured reserve on Thursday.
“Miller should be able to play, but we won't know until after the morning skate,” said Hurricanes coach Rod Brind'Amour on Wednesday.
Mats Zuccarello may make his season debut for the Minnesota Wild on Friday at 7 p.m. after recovering from a lower-body injury sustained in mid-September. He started skating independently last week and participated in the morning skate before the Wild's game against the Hurricanes.
“He's not going to go tonight, but we'll see tomorrow. It's day to day,” said Wild coach John Hynes.
Tyson Kozak is expected to return to play against the St. Louis Blues on Thursday at 7 p.m. ET after sitting out five games with a lower-body injury.
Forward Josh Norris has begun skating on his own following an upper-body injury, but there is no specified timetable for his return to the lineup.
