Marines Destroy Russian Artillery Systems Shelling Kherson
Over the past four days, the 30th Marine Corps destroyed four Russian artillery systems shelling Kherson, as reported by Colonel Oleksandr Zavtonov, spokesperson for the 30th Marine Corps of the Ukrainian Navy.
According to Zavtonov, between October 7 and 10, Russian forces carried out 38 artillery attacks on settlements within the defense zone of the 30th Marine Corps, with Kherson suffering the most as it is "practically on the frontline."
We do not position our artillery within urban areas so as not to endanger civilians. Nevertheless, we have the means to counter such terrorist attacks.
Zavtonov emphasized the difference in tactics between Ukrainian and Russian forces, prioritizing civilian safety.
