Return of Shetland: Season 10
The reliable detective drama Shetland (BBC One, Wednesday) kicked off its 10th series with Tosh and Calder (Alison O’Donnell, Ashley Jensen) awaiting a fishing boat believed to be carrying drugs. Soon after, they were alerted to a dead body found in the village of Lunnswick.
“Retired social worker Eadie Tulloch was left outside her house for days, tethered to a post. Inside, there were no signs of disturbance. It was as if she was led out meekly, like an animal to slaughter,” said Calder.
The investigation introduces a confident new fiscal, Matt (Samuel Anderson), who admits to tensions with his Edinburgh girlfriend caused by their long-distance relationship.
