Big Brother Australia returns in its classic form with 13 diverse contestants entering the Dreamworld house on the Gold Coast. This season features live nominations, live evictions, and a 24-hour livestream.
On Sunday night, host Mel Tracina introduced 12 housemates who range from bubbly to bold and brilliant, promising an entertaining season. The season’s first twist was also revealed: the public will vote to add one more contestant to the house.
Jane made history as the first housemate to be voted in. She is a 67-year-old retiree who, if entering, would become the oldest contestant in Australian Big Brother history.
"I’m a grandmother but not your average grandmother. My suitcase has no tracksuits, it’s all sparkle, heels, bikinis. I’m going to talk some shit, I’m going to tell some lies," Jane says. "And now I’m single, you better watch out!"
Colin is a lively 21-year-old from Wollongong, New South Wales. He describes himself as a "mama’s boy" with a passion for conspiracies, aiming to take his mum to Egypt if he wins.
“I’m a big conspiracy head,” Colin explains.
Viewers now have the opportunity to vote for the final contestant to join these captivating housemates.
