Alec Baldwin crashed his wife Hilaria Baldwin's Range Rover into a tree in East Hampton, New York.
The accident occurred on Montauk Highway amidst strong winds and heavy rain, which caused flooding on the streets.
"This morning I was in this car accident. Guy cut me off [in front of a] big garbage truck the size of a whale," Alec told fans in an Instagram video. "To avoid hitting him, I hit a tree. I hit a big fat tree."
Alec was in the car with his brother, Stephen Baldwin, who
"is doing fine and is grateful no one was injured. He appreciates the concern and he can confirm that he and Alec are both safe and well."
