US Ambassador To Israel Mike Huckabee Plays Bass On Lynyrd Skynyrd Remix
A remix of the classic song "Sweet Home Alabama" has been created to celebrate the Middle East peace deal, titled "Sweet Home Yerushalayim".
Lynyrd Skynyrd's original song "Sweet Home Alabama" was released in 1973 and was written in response to Neil Young's songs "Southern Man" and "Alabama", which the band felt blamed the entire south for slavery.
"Sweet Home Alabama" is one of the signature songs for the greatest southern rock band of all time, Lynyrd Skynyrd.
The song has been repurposed to celebrate the historic peace deal in the Middle East, with US Ambassador To Israel Mike Huckabee playing bass on the remix.
