Northeast Ohio Amish Woman Killed in Buggy Accident

An Ohio Amish woman was killed and another seriously injured on October 12 after a truck struck their buggy on U.S. Route 422 in Geauga County.

The horse and buggy, operated by 62-year-old Lester Byler, was headed east when it was hit from behind by a red Volvo commercial truck driven by 31-year-old Daoud Husein.

The truck driver, Daoud Husein, was not injured in the accident.
