Youth Crime Rates Decline in Notorious Area
Despite being labeled the "crime capital," senior police officers are reporting a decrease in youth-related crime rates in the Moree area.
New England crime manager, Detective Inspector Kingsley Chapman, revealed that most crime categories involving youth were either stable or falling in the year to August.
"There's a number of stable categories, a number of categories have reduced,"
He also stated that
"we're definitely not seeing increases"in the majority of crime categories, contrary to concerns on social media.
