Boy Accidentally Shoots Farm Worker in Thabazimbi
A farm labourer was shot dead by an 11-year-old boy who was shooting guinea fowl at a farm in Thabazimbi, Limpopo.
According to police spokesperson Col Malesela Ledwaba,
the boy allegedly accidentally discharged the firearm, fatally wounding a farm workeron Saturday morning.
- The victim, an African male in his thirties, was found with a bullet wound to the upper left chest.
- He was declared dead by medics at the scene.
- The boy's 43-year-old father was arrested and charged with negligent handling of a firearm.
- The firearm and cartridge were confiscated as part of the investigation.
