Plans to Extend Caravan Park Draw Dozens of Objections
Plans to extend a caravan park in Moray have drawn numerous complaints from residents and neighbors.
Camelo Parks Ltd has applied to Moray Council to add 57 static holiday caravan pitches at Riverview Country Park in Mundole.
- The site currently accommodates 128 residential caravan pitches.
- It also has 36 holiday static caravan pitches and 20 touring caravan pitches.
A previous application for an additional 78 static pitches was refused in April.
Residents and neighbors have raised concerns about the infrastructure, including:
- Inadequate drainage and sewerage.
- Pot-hole-ridden roads.
- A lack of street lighting.
The new pitches would increase traffic, damaging roads, and attract hundreds of tourists, which would "spoil peace and quiet".
