Park Walk Turns into Big Lottery Win

A Brantford woman, Sara Butts, won a top prize of $250,000 in Instant Diamond Dollars on a ticket she bought while out on a walk.

Butts, 42, purchased the ticket at Sonia’s Variety on Paris Road and then sat in a local park to play it. She was shocked to discover she had won the top prize.

“I sat at the park to play them and I was in total shock when I discovered I won,”

Butts initially thought she had won $250 and was happy with that, but upon closer inspection, she realized she had won much more.

“I honestly thought I won $250 first and I was happy with that. When I took a closer look at the ticket, I thought ‘OMG! This can’t be real!’ I was just stunned.”

Butts plans to invest her winnings and is feeling grateful for her good fortune.

“I feel incredibly blessed and grateful,”
