Celebrations as Winners of First Churchill Living Local Hero Awards Crowned

Celebrations were in order as the first-ever Churchill Living Local Hero Awards winners were announced.

The inaugural award, supported by The Solihull Observer, recognized inspirational over 60s who make a difference across the West Midlands.

Winners, supporters, and residents from Bower Lodge in Shirley attended a ceremony with associates and partners of the awards, where they enjoyed coffee and cake.

Highly Commended Award Winner: Terry Flower

Terry Flower, a 77-year-old from Solihull, received a Highly Commended award for his dedication to saving lives as a volunteer Community First Responder with FastAid.
