Boyd Races Way to Scholar Athlete Nomination
In the Friday Night Rivals season, the South Carolina National Guard recognizes exceptional student athletes from participating schools.
This week's Scholar Athletes of the Week are Preston Rhodes from Lugoff-Elgin and Jayden Boyd from Westwood.
- Boyd is a state champion in track, both individually and as a team.
- He is all-state in track and all-region in football.
