Namibia Shock South Africa in T20 International
A burst of late hitting by wicketkeeper Zane Green took Namibia to a shock win over South Africa in a one-off Twenty20 international.
Green, who finished on 30 not out, hit 23 of the 26 runs scored by Namibia in the last two overs. With 11 needed off the last over, Green hooked the first ball for six. He then hit the last ball to the midwicket boundary for the winning runs.
The match inaugurated the Namibia Cricket Ground, a venue for the 2027 Cricket World Cup in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia.
