Nicolae and Florin Mazarache, of Clondalkin, Dublin, were travelling to Spain to visit family members when they were stopped at Dublin Airport on April 17, 2021.
They were issued with €2,000 fixed penalty notices for allegedly breaching Covid regulations by travelling to the airport.
The father and son chose not to pay the fine and instead brought judicial review proceedings, but their appeal was unsuccessful.
