Several businesses in Draper were forced to close due to an issue with the Jordan Basin sewer line.

The Salt Lake County Health Department ordered businesses in the Draper Peaks shopping center at 201 East 12300 South to either temporarily close or restrict access to their restrooms.

This was caused by a sewer line blockage near 12200 South State Street, but no homes were affected.

According to officials, the Jordan Basin Improvement District completed sewer line repairs just before 9 p.m., allowing affected businesses to resume normal operations.
