Honkarakenne Brings Finnish Timber Construction Expertise to Kazakhstan
Honkarakenne, a global leader in CLT log construction, has signed two significant Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) in Kazakhstan.
Advancing Sustainable Tourism and Ecological Solutions
The MoUs aim to advance sustainable tourism and ecological timber construction in collaboration with local partners.
- The first MoU was signed with Burabay Damu and the Burabay National Park to develop environmentally friendly tourism infrastructure.
- The second MoU was signed with TOR’RE Ltd and Nord Wood House LLP.
The cooperation will begin with a pilot project titled “Honka Outdoor Lounge – Natural Comfort in the Heart of Nature”
This project will introduce modern ecological timber architecture to enhance the national park’s visitor services.
