A vast collection of 183 million email addresses and passwords, including confirmed login credentials for Gmail accounts, has surfaced online.
According to the breach monitoring service Have I Been Pwned (HIBP), run by cybersecurity researcher Troy Hunt, the data includes website URLs, email addresses, and plaintext passwords.
Users are urged to update credentials immediately.
The entry for each record typically comprised the site URL, the user’s email and the password.
