Argentina's President Javier Milei has announced his intentions to pursue labour and tax reforms, followed by changes to the pension system, in his first interview since the midterm elections.
According to President Milei, he will seek to expand his support base in Congress and gain the backing of provincial governors to implement these reforms.
“The Cabinet will be formed in light of the new Congress, based on the alliances I must build to get the agenda through. What matters is securing the reforms,”
President Milei also mentioned an upcoming Cabinet reshuffle, leaving open the possibility of appointing figures from other political forces to key positions.
