National armwrestler, Godwin Sackey, has shared his remarkable journey in the sport that changed his life.
In an exclusive interview with Joel Eshun on GhanaWeb TV's Sports Check, Sackey discussed how discipline, perseverance, and passion guided him to become a national hero in armwrestling.
"I didn't like the sport but my friend introduced me to it and made me like it when I was in Secondary School. I thank him every day because the continuous persuasion from him has completely changed my life."
Sackey, the African champion, won gold and silver at the 2023 Africa Games in Accra.
