Ben Affleck, Bradley Cooper, and Ryan Coogler are confirmed as presenters for Michael B. Jordan's American Cinematheque Award ceremony on November 20 at the Beverly Hilton.
The 39th annual event will gather many of Jordan’s colleagues and friends to celebrate his achievements. Oscar winners Daniel Kaluuya, Mahershala Ali, and Octavia Spencer are also scheduled to take part.
These figures will take the stage to honor the acclaimed actor and filmmaker. NBC Universal Entertainment and Studios chairman Donna Langley will present the MPA’s Charles H. Rivkin with the Power of Cinema Award.
The show will feature a special performance by Miles Caton, Ludwig Göransson, and Raphael Saadiq performing the song “I Lied to You” from the film Sinners.
“Jordan’s honor comes on the heels of his performance as twin brothers Smoke and Stack in Coogler’s critical and box office phenomenon Sinners earlier this year.”
The American Cinematheque ceremony serves as an annual fundraiser supporting its year-round film programming across Los Angeles, including the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica, Los Feliz 3 Theatre, and the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.
Michael B. Jordan will be honored at the American Cinematheque ceremony on November 20, featuring tributes from leading Hollywood stars and a performance from Sinners musicians.
