Star-Studded Line-up for Women's IRONMAN 70.3 Worlds
The start list for the women’s IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Marbella has been released, with three-time winner Taylor Knibb wearing the #1 bib, provided she recovers in time from her Kona exertions.
Taylor Knibb, the winner of the last three years, tops the start list, but her participation is uncertain due to her recent performance in the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona, where she came to a standstill during the run due to the searing heat and humidity.
Knibb could only sit on the roadside and watch helplessly as Norway’s Solveig Løvseth ran past on her way to victory.
Other notable athletes, such as Britain’s Lucy Charles-Barclay, are also on the start list, but their participation is subject to their recovery from recent competitions.
The women’s IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship will take place in Marbella on Saturday, 8th November.
