Disney-Owned Channels Removed from YouTube TV
Disney-owned channels, including 6ABC, ABC, and ESPN, are no longer available on YouTube TV due to a failed agreement on a new carrier deal.
The blackout affects approximately 10 million YouTube TV subscribers, who no longer have access to these channels. In Philadelphia, this means that 6ABC and popular shows like "Abbott Elementary" are no longer available on the platform.
If the blackout continues, the Philadelphia Eagles game against the Green Bay Packers on November 10 won't be available on YouTube TV.
YouTube TV stated that Disney began using the threat of a blackout as a negotiating tactic last week.
