Petrol and Diesel Price Cuts
The Department of Mineral Resources and Energy (DMRE) has announced a decrease in petrol prices, which will be welcomed by motorists ahead of the festive season.
- Petrol (93-octane) will decrease by 51 cents per litre, costing R20.97 per litre.
- Petrol (95-octane) will decrease by 51 cents per litre, costing R21.12 per litre.
- Diesel (0.05% sulphur) will decrease by 21 cents per litre, costing R19.13 per litre.
- Diesel (0.005% sulphur) will decrease by 19 cents per litre, costing R9.20 per litre.
- Illuminating paraffin will cost 1 cent less per litre.
- LP gas will decrease by 61 cents/kg.
These price adjustments will take effect from Wednesday.
