The first trailer for Marvel's Avengers: Doomsday is rumored to debut this December alongside James Cameron's Avatar: Fire and Ash.
Collider reports that it “has learned from multiple sources that the first footage from the MCU's next big team-up film is scheduled to be attached to the latest installment of one of Disney's other blockbuster franchises, Avatar: Fire and Ash.” However, the plan could change before Avatar: Fire and Ash premieres on December 19, 2025.
Details about the movie's plot are scarce, but it promises to unite the Avengers, Fantastic Four, and the original X-Men on screen for the first time.
Several actors from previous Marvel projects, such as Brie Larson, Famke Janssen, Elizabeth Olsen, Charlie Cox, Andrew Garfield, Halle Berry, and Chris Evans, have either been vague or outright denied returning to their roles in Doomsday.
Channing Tatum, reprising Gambit, mentioned that Avengers: Doomsday will feature moments “50 times bigger than when Wesley Snipes' Blade turned up in Deadpool & Wolverine.”
As of the article's publication, Disney had not responded to IGN’s request for comment regarding the trailer debut.
Author’s summary: The upcoming Avengers: Doomsday trailer might premiere with Avatar: Fire and Ash this December, setting the stage for a major MCU event uniting multiple superhero teams.
