The long-awaited trailer for Avengers 5, officially titled Avengers: Doomsday, finally has a confirmed release date. Fans can expect to see it debut ahead of Avatar: Fire and Ash on December 19.
Marvel’s Phase 6 began earlier in the summer with The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and it is set to conclude by 2027 after two major Avengers films. Principal photography for Avengers: Doomsday wrapped on September 19, 2025, under the direction of Anthony and Joe Russo.
Robert Downey Jr. is returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but instead of reprising his role as Tony Stark, he will portray Victor von Doom, also known as Doom. He will continue this role in the next Avengers movie, Avengers: Secret Wars, expected to release in 2027.
