As the Malveaux era begins its second season on the Plains, thirteen newcomers will debut wearing the Orange and Blue at Jane B. Moore Field. Among them is Abby Herndon, a left-handed pitcher from Killen, Alabama, joining the Tigers after a year at Ole Miss.
Although Abby did not play in her first collegiate season, she had an impressive prep career, being a three-time all-state honoree at Brooks High School.
Herndon: I began tee ball at four and started playing with a softball around six.
