As the government shutdown extends to almost two weeks, state agencies aren’t expecting any immediate impacts to federally funded nutrition programs this month.
The Utah Department of Workforce Services has secured October's funding for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and the Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is also funded for the month.
