Colman Domingo Joins the Cast of 'Wicked: For Good'
Colman Domingo will voice the Cowardly Lion in the highly anticipated musical sequel "Wicked: For Good".
The actor announced the news on his Instagram on Monday, putting an end to fan speculation. Director Jon M. Chu had previously teased that a significant name would be behind the character.
The gamble for Universal Pictures paid off as the first film last November grossed over $756 million worldwide and earned 10 Oscar nominations and two wins.
The "Wicked" films were shot back-to-back as one giant production, adapting the smash hit Broadway musical into two movies.
