Thomas Randle initially took the lead from pole sitter Broc Feeney, but Feeney regained the top spot by the first chicane.
Mostert took the lead after the second pit stops, benefiting from Feeney's slow stop. A safety car session occurred when Anton De Pasquale collided with James Courtney, resulting in a 15-second penalty for De Pasquale.
With four laps remaining, Mostert defended his position against Feeney to secure the win.
