The Robert Parker Coffin Bridge in Long Grove has been struck by a large trailer, marking at least the 69th time the bridge has been hit.
The incident occurred around 10:50 p.m. on Thursday and was partially caught on surveillance video by Neumann’s Cigars and More.
Similar incidents have occurred in the past, including a box truck's roof striking the bridge canopy in June and another incident on May 20 involving a box truck belonging to Northwest Trucks Inc.
No comment from authorities or drivers involved.
