Plane Crash Northwest of Fort Worth
A plane crash occurred near Hicks Airfield in Tarrant County, just off Business 287, around 1:30 p.m.
- The crash caused multiple semi-trucks to catch fire on N. Saginaw Blvd.
- Two victims were found deceased at the scene.
- Small grass fires sparked from the crash but were quickly contained by officials.
The FAA and NTSB are on the scene to assist in the investigation. Business 287 is currently shut down for both north and southbound traffic.
Motorists are urged to use a different route and to avoid the area.
