Flowery Branch Man Arrested for Theft by Deception

A 51-year-old man from Flowery Branch, William Lytle, has been arrested on six counts of theft by deception in connection with multiple incidents at a local business.

According to the Flowery Branch Police Department, Lytle allegedly deceived a retail store on Spout Springs Rd. to fraudulently obtain refunds totaling approximately $1,790 between July and September 2025.

After gathering sufficient evidence, investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Lytle, and he was arrested in October. He is currently being held in the Hall County Jail without bond.
