The Committee for Public Education (CFPE) and the International Youth and Students for Social Equality (IYSSE) recently held a public meeting to oppose mass job cuts at Australian universities and the broader assault on public education. The meeting highlighted the destruction of 3,500 jobs at universities across the country over the past 10 months, with many more slated to be axed.
