Man City's Regret Over Letting Go of Claudio Echeverri
Man City may already regret sending Claudio Echeverri on loan to Bayer Leverkusen, following a struggle for minutes and recent comments from sporting director Simon Rolfes.
Football Insider reported that Man City signed Echeverri from River Plate in January 2024, but he initially rejoined River on loan before joining his new City teammates in January.
Echeverri, a 19-year-old attacking midfielder, had a limited impact at the Etihad Stadium, but scored his first Man City goal at the Club World Cup in June against Al-Ain.
Pep Guardiola previously called Echeverri 'incredible'.
